Sam Pellissier Architects was founded in January 1992 by Sam Pellissier Senior, an architect with experience in renowned firms in New York and Johannesburg. With a passion for architecture and a vision for a new South Africa, Sam launched the firm from humble beginnings, focusing initially on office park developments and interior space planning. As the firm grew, so did its portfolio, expanding to include private residential projects. Sam’s wealth of experience, spanning over three decades, has shaped the firm’s commitment to quality, detail, and timeless design. About Samuel Pellissier Junior
In 1992, the same year Sam Senior founded the firm, Samuel Pellissier Junior was born, marking the start of a father-and-son legacy. Samuel Jr. grew up immersed in the world of architecture and went on to pursue his studies, graduating from Paul Roos Gymnasium before earning his Master’s in Architecture from the University of the Free State in 2018—32 years after his father's graduation from the same institution. With a passion for modern design and technology, Samuel Jr. specializes in Building Information Modeling (BIM), virtual reality, and other cutting-edge tools that bring designs to life. His expertise ensures that the firm remains at the forefront of architectural innovation, seamlessly integrating new technologies with time-honored design principles.
